Bu hafta tavsiye edeceğimiz kitap Jane Clarke’ın yazıp Garry Parsons’ın çizdiği ‘Stuck in the Mud’ yani ‘Çamura Saplanmış’. Kitap, bir sabah uyandığında civcivlerinden bir tanesini çamura saplanmış halde bulan tavuk annenin, yavrusunu diğer çiftlik hayvanlarının da yardımıyla çamurdan kurtarmaya çalışmasını hikaye ediyor. Okuması çok eğlenceli olan bu kitap hoş bir sürprizle son buluyor. Ama ne yazık ki henüz Türkçe’ye çevrilmemiş.

This week we picked ‘Stuck in the Mud’ by Jane Clarke. It’s about a mother hen’s futile struggle to rescue her chick from the sticky mud with the help of other farm animals. It’s really an amusing story with lots of funny expression and rhyming. We love Garry Parson’s very colorful and detailed illustrations. It has a surprise ending, too :).
